Cold Potato Soup
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sweet cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Freshly ground pepper||1 Dash|
|Sour cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped chives||1 Teaspoon|
Cook the potatoes and onion together until well-done.
Drain and mash them thoroughly.
Slowly bring the milk and sweet cream to the boiling point.
Add the mashed potatoes, onion, salt, pepper, and butter.
Allow them to simmer for no longer than 5 minutes.
Chill them thoroughly.
When ready to serve, beat the mixture thoroughly with the sour cream.
