No Cook Tomato Soup

|Tomato juice||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)|
|Green onions||3 , minced|
|Heavy cream/Half and half||2 Cup (32 tbs), stiffly beaten|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Combine all ingredients except basil in a deep bowl.
Cover and chill for 1 hour.
Discard bay leaves.
Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with chopped basil, if desired.
