Cold Strawberry Soup
|Strawberries||1 Quart, washed and hulled|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sour cream||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Place berries in work bowl of food processor or blender with 1 cup buttermilk and sugar.
Process until smooth.
Pour into a soup tureen.
Combine sour cream, remaining buttermilk, and kirsch in work bowl and process 3 to 4 seconds; add to strawberries.
