Lentil Soup With Spinach

Ingredients
  Onions 2 Medium, sliced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), finely chopped
  Olive oil/Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Water 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Dried lentils 8 Ounce
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Spinach 10 Ounce, chopped
  Lemon peel 1 Teaspoon, grated
  Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cook and stir onions and garlic in oil in 3-quart saucepan over medium heat until onions are tender.
Stir in water, lentils and salt.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 1 hour.
Stir in spinach, lemon peel and lemon juice.
Cover and simmer until spinach is tender, about 5 minutes.
