Barszcz Beet Soup

Ingredients
  Beets 2
  Pork hock/Spare ribs / ham 1
  Sour cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whole eggs 2 (Raw)
  Vinegar To Taste
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon (As Needed)
Directions

Boil the beets, cool and slice.
Boil with pork hock.
If desired, add 6 prunes.
When meat is cooked, add sour cream thickened with flour.
Add vinegar to taste.
Just before serving, drop eggs into soup (one per person) and boil gently.
