Barszcz Beet Soup
|Pork hock/Spare ribs / ham||1|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Whole eggs||2 (Raw)|
|Sugar||1 Teaspoon (As Needed)|
Boil the beets, cool and slice.
Boil with pork hock.
If desired, add 6 prunes.
When meat is cooked, add sour cream thickened with flour.
Add vinegar to taste.
Just before serving, drop eggs into soup (one per person) and boil gently.
