Onion Soup

Ingredients
  Thinly sliced onions 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Canned beef broth 32 1⁄4 Ounce (Three 10 3/4 Ounce Each Cans)
  Toasted french bread 2 (Three 10 3/4 Ounce Each Cans)
  Shredded swiss cheese 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

1. Combine onions and butter in a 3-quart glass casserole. Micro wave, uncovered, at Power Level 10 for 6 to 8 minutes, or until onions are very soft, stirring twice.
2. Add beef broth and cover. Set microwave oven at Power Level 10 for 4 minutes, and then Power Level 7 for 12 minutes. Stir once after 3 minutes.
3. Ladle soup into 4 individual bowls. Cover with bread slices and sprinkle with the two cheeses. Microwave at Power Level 9 for 7 to 10 minutes, or until cheese melts and bubbles.
