Microwaved Green Onion And Pasta Soup
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Uncooked macaroni||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Ring Or Shell)|
|Finely chopped green onions||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Including Green Tops)|
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Instant beef bouillon||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Shredded american cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Place the water in a microwavable 1-quart bowl or measuring cup.
Microwave on High (100% power) until boiling.
Add the macaroni and microwave on High until boiling again.
Stir once and let stand while you prepare, the remaining ingredients.
Place the butter in a microwavable 4-quart bowl and microwave on High just until melted.
Add the green onions and microwave on High for 3 minutes, stirring once.
Slowly stir in the milk, then the bouillon, pepper, nutmeg and cheese.
Microwave on High for about 5 minutes or until almost boiling.
Drain the macaroni and add it to the soup.
Microwave on Low (30% power) for about 3 minutes.
