Cheesy Onion Soup
|Sliced onion||5 Large|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned beef broth/Make your own from bouillon cubes||20 Ounce (2 Can)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Toasted bread croutons||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated swiss cheese||4 Ounce|
|Grated pamesan||4 Ounce|
In 3 qt glass casserole combine onions and butter.
Microwave (high), covered, 6-8 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.
Add broth and water.
Microwave (high), covered, 5-7 minutes until steaming hot.
Spoon into 4 soup bowls.
Sprinkle with croutons and cheeses.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Microwave (high) 4-6 minutes until cheese melts, rearranging dishes halfway through cooking
