Carrot Soup

This yummy carrot soup swept me off my feet, I bet it will do the same to you. This soup makes a good appetizer for most meals. Once you try out this carrot soup recipe, don't forget to inform me about what you think about it .
Ingredients
  Butter 60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)
  Onions 2 , sliced
  Potatoes 2 Large, peeled and sliced
  Celery stalks 2 , diced
  Carrots 4 , peeled and sliced
  Water 1 Liter (4 Cups)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Pepper To Taste
  Cream 125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
Directions

MAKING
1 In a pan, melt butter.
2 Add in the onions and fry until transparent.
3 Add potatoes, celery and carrots and fry for another 1 minute.
4 Add water, sugar, garlic and pepper.
5 Bring to a boil and lower the heat.
6 Simmer for 30 minutes.
7 Transfer to a blender jar and blend until smooth.
8 Return to the pan and reheat (or microwave on HIGH 5 minutes).

SERVING
9 Pour in individual soup bowls and serve.
