|Butter||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Onions||2 , sliced|
|Potatoes||2 Large, peeled and sliced|
|Celery stalks||2 , diced|
|Carrots||4 , peeled and sliced|
|Water||1 Liter (4 Cups)|
|Sugar||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Cream||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
1 In a pan, melt butter.
2 Add in the onions and fry until transparent.
3 Add potatoes, celery and carrots and fry for another 1 minute.
4 Add water, sugar, garlic and pepper.
5 Bring to a boil and lower the heat.
6 Simmer for 30 minutes.
7 Transfer to a blender jar and blend until smooth.
8 Return to the pan and reheat (or microwave on HIGH 5 minutes).
9 Pour in individual soup bowls and serve.
