Old Fashioned Homemade Soup
|Stew meat||3 Pound|
|Potatoes||2 (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Carrots||2 (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Celery||2 (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Green beans||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Lima beans||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Frozen corn||10 Ounce (1 Small Package)|
|Stewed tomatoes||2 Can (20 oz)|
|Peas||1 Can (10 oz)|
In 8 to 11 quart stock pot, brown stew meat with desired seasonings.
Add water, stewed tomatoes and onion to make the pot half full.
Simmer for 2 hours.
Add cut up, bite sized potatoes, carrots and celery and cook another hour.
Finally, add frozen corn, green beans, lima beans and peas and cook another 20 minutes.
Be sure to add extra salt and pepper to stock.
Better if served the next day.
