Green Pea Soup
|Dried green pea||8 Ounce (225 Gram)|
|Salted pork back fat||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Water||1 3⁄4 Liter (7 Cups)|
|Onion||1 , finely sliced|
|Carrot||1 , diced|
|Celery leaves||2 Teaspoon, finley sliced (10 Milliliter)|
|Chopped savory||1⁄2 Teaspoon (2 Milliliter)|
– In a stove-top casserole, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring from time to time.
– Remove pork fat. Run soup through blender. Adjust seasoning. Decorate with a few small chunks of pork fat and serve.
