Ingredients
  Dried green pea 8 Ounce (225 Gram)
  Salted pork back fat 60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)
  Water 1 3⁄4 Liter (7 Cups)
  Onion 1 , finely sliced
  Carrot 1 , diced
  Bay leaf 2
  Celery leaves 2 Teaspoon, finley sliced (10 Milliliter)
  Parsley sprigs 5
  Chopped savory 1⁄2 Teaspoon (2 Milliliter)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

–  In a stove-top casserole, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring from time to time.
–  Remove pork fat. Run soup through blender. Adjust seasoning. Decorate with a few small chunks of pork fat and serve.
