Ham And Celery Soup
|Meaty ham bone||1|
|Cabbage||1⁄4 Small, finely shredded|
|Celery stalks with tops||2 , sliced|
|Green onions||6 , chopped|
|Canned cream of celery soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Water||5 1⁄4 Ounce (1/2 Of Soup Can)|
|Coarsely grated carrot||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Raw)|
Simmer ham bone and chicken backs in the water until meat falls from bones.
Remove bones and put all meat pieces into the broth; add cabbage, celery, and onions, and cook 15 minutes.
Add celery soup and water; season with salt and pepper.
Simmer until well blended, but do not boil.
