Creamy Potato Soup

Chef Jason Hill is going to show us How To Cook The Creamy Potato Soup in his very own way. This is an incredible soup with smoked Gouda cheese.   Dried basil 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Shredded smoked gouda cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Red potatoes 6 , diced
  Carrots 2 , diced
  Celery stalk 2 , diced
  Onion 1 , diced
  Garlic shallot puree 1 Teaspoon
  Heavy cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Chicken stock 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Roux 1 Tablespoon (Roux Is 4 Tbsp Butter And 4 Tbsp Flour)

1. In a pot, melt the butter first.
2. Add celery, onion and carrot.
3. Cook until the onions are translucent.
4. Add basil.
5. Add the potatoes. Cook for 3 minutes.
6. Carefully pour in the chicken broth and boil the soup for 20 minutes.
7. Add the roux and stir constantly to avoid lump formation.
8. Add the heavy cream.
9. Add the cheese and slowly melt it down.
10. Serve in a plate and add some fresh cracked pepper.
