Ingredients
  Butter 1 Tablespoon (1 Knob)
  Onion 1 , finely chopped
  Spinach 10 Ounce (Fresh Or Frozen)
  All purpose flour/Wheat flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Celery salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

In a saucepan, melt butter.
Saute onion.
Add spinach.
Cover.
Over moderate heat, continue cooking until spinach is tender.
Stir occasionally.
Meanwhile, pour flour into a mixing bowl.
Make a well in the center.
Place egg into the well.
With a fork, mix egg and flour.
Shape into dumplings.
Add milk to cooked spinach.
Stirring constantly, bring milk to a foam.
Season.
Add dumplings one at a time.
Cover.
Remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes.
