Garbanzo Soup

Many have told me that this Garbanzo Soup recipe of mine is on par with the Garbanzo Soup they get at the best restaurants. Enjoy the taste of my Garbanzo Soup! It has all what it takes to make a perfect soup!
  Unrefined olive oil 15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)
  Onion 120 Milliliter, chopped (1/2 Cup)
  Cold water 960 Milliliter (4 Cups)
  Garbanzo flour 120 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)
  Soy sauce 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
  Garlic powder 1 Pinch
  Sweet basil leaves 1 Teaspoon, crushed (5 Milliliter)

Preheat heavy saucepan, then add oil and onion and saute until soft.
Add 1 cup cold water.
Stir in flour until smooth.
Stir in remaining water gradually.
Add seasonings.
Let cook over medium-low heat until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally, or over higher heat stirring constandy.
Do not allow to boil.
