Creamy Cabbage Soup
|Cold water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
Chop cabbage and onion.
In a saucepan, mix vegetables with water, sugar and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Let reduce 30 minutes or until liquid has almost all evaporated.
Remove from heat.
In a second saucepan, melt butter.
Mix in flour.
Over low heat, fold in milk, stirring constantly.
Cook until mixture thickens slightly.
Pour milk soup over cabbage, mixing gently.
