Quick And Tasty Bean Soup
|Bulk italian sausage||3⁄4 Pound|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Chopped fresh basil/1 teaspoon dried basil leaves||1 Tablespoon|
|Whole tomatoes||1 Can (10 oz), undrained, cut up|
|Beef broth||1 Can (10 oz) (Ready To Serve)|
|Black beans||1 Can (10 oz), drained|
|Butter beans||1 Can (10 oz), drained (Green Giant Or Joan Of Arc)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
In large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine sausage, onion, garlic and basil.
Cook over medium high heat until sausage is well browned and onion is tender, stirring occasionally; drain.
Add remaining ingredients except cheese; stir.
Cover; cook over medium heat 10 to 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated and flavors are blended, stirring occasionally.
