Soup With Fresh Greens

Ingredients
  Water 1 1⁄4 Liter
  Onion 1 , finely sliced
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), sliced
  Dried shrimps 3 Tablespoon, pounded
  Shrimp paste 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Watercress leaves/Sorrel / spinach / chinese cabbage 225 Gram
Directions

Put the water, onion and garlic in a large saucepan and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat, then add the shrimps, shrimp paste (if used), soy sauce and salt, stirring well.
Add the green leaves.
Boil for 5 minutes, taste and adjust the seasoning.
