Beef Vegetable Soup
|Stewing beef||1 Pound|
|Water||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Diced potatoes||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded cabbage||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Brown stewing beef in hot fat.
Put soup bone and browned beef into 5 cups water and boil for two hours.
Cut beef into small pieces and return to broth.
Boil until all vegetables are tender.
