Cheese Soup With Broccoli Cauliflower And Sausage
|Sausage beef||8 Ounce, smoked and cubed|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Caraway seed||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Canned chicken broth||29 Ounce (Two 14 1/2Ounce Can)|
|Potatoes||3 Medium, peeled and sliced|
|Broccoli flowerets||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cauliflower flowerets||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Whipping cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), shredded|
In 2-quart casserole, place butter, sausage, onion, caraway seed, pepper and bay leaf.
Microwave at high (10) 4 to 6 minutes, until sausage begins to brown and onion is tender, stirring every 2 minutes.
Add chicken broth, potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower.
Microwave at medium high (7) 28 to 32 minutes, until vegetables are tender, stirring every 7 minutes.
Stir in cream and Microwave at high (10) 4 to 6 minutes until heated through.
Discard bay leaf.
Add cheese and stir until completely melted.
