Chicken Noodle Soup With Peppercorns
|Chicken parts||2 Pound|
|Celery stalks||4 , cut up|
|Bay leaves||2 , crushed|
|Onion||1 , sliced|
|Hot water||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Carrots||3 , shredded|
|Egg noodles||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), uncooked|
In 3-quart casserole, combine chicken, celery, bay leaves, peppercorns, salt, onion and water.
Microwave at high (10) 10 minutes.
Continue to Microwave at medium (5) 35 to 37 minutes until chicken is tender.
Strain chicken from broth.
Return broth to casserole and set chicken aside to cool.
Add carrots and noodles to broth.
Remove chicken from bone, coarsely chop and add to broth.
Microwave at medium high (7) 7 to 8 minutes until noodles and carrots are tender.
