Snapper refers to a group of fish which include both sport fish and food fish. The most widely known food fish in this group is perhaps the red snapper. Blue fish is also a snapper that is used both as sport fish and a food fish. Snappers are best when they are baked with sauced and served over a bed of salad and greens. Snappers can also be curried, made into soups, roasted and stewed.
