In a small bowl, combine the paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper.
Set a large cast-iron skillet over high heat until hot.
Brush both sides of the snapper with the oil and dust with the spice mixture.
Mist with no-stick spray and place in the skillet.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
