DelectablePlanet's picture
This smoothie includes spirulina, an antioxidant-rich powder made from blue-green algae. It’s highly nutritious and doesn’t change the taste of this delicious fruit smoothie. It does, however, make it a beautiful green color.
Ingredients
Unsweetened pineapple juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla soy milk/Non dairy milk 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Fortified)
  Frozen banana/Fresh banana 1
  Frozen peach slice 10
Pitted cherries/Pitted raspberries 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Fresh Or Frozen)
  Spirulina powder 1 Tablespoon
  Syrup of maple 2 Teaspoon
  Ice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Stop the blender occasionally to scrape down the sides of the container and push any unblended fruit into the blades with a rubber spatula.
Green Goodie Smoothie is best served immediately. Leftovers may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 day or frozen for up to 1 week. Blend the mixture again before serving.
