Ground Round Mexicali

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Whipped margarine 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground sirloin/Round 1 Pound
  Diced canned green chile peppers 2 Tablespoon
  Pineapple slices 4
  Sliced monterey jack cheese/Gruyere cheese 2 Ounce
  Canned sweet peppers 4
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Saute onion in margarine until limp and golden brown, cooking slowly.
Shape meat into 4 patties and season with salt and pepper.
Place on a broiling pan and broil until browned on both sides, cooking until medium rare.
Remove from the oven and distribute onion and chile peppers over them.
Top with a slice of pineapple and the cheese.
Return to the oven and broil until cheese melts.
Top each patty with a red pepper.
Contains about 300 calories per serving.
