Brandied Sirloin Tip Roast
|Vegetable oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brandy||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Apple juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Boneless beef sirloin tip roast||3 1⁄2 Pound|
For marinade, combine oil, brandy, apple juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and pepper.
Place beef in a plastic bag set into a shallow dish.
Pour marinade over beef.
Marinate in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight, turning bag several times to distribute marinade.
Drain beef, reserving marinade.
Insert meat thermometer into the center of the roast.
Place beef in center of the cooking grill.
Grill 1 to 1 3/4 hours for rare 140Â°F (60Â°c, 1 3/4 to 2 1/4 hours for medium 160Â°F (71Â°C), or 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 hours for well-done 170Â°F (77Â°C).Transfer beef to a serving platter.
Let stand 15 minutes before carving.
