Shrimp In The Shell

Ingredients
  Shrimp shell 3 Pound
  Soy sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Dry sherry 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Garlic salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Finely chopped preserved ginger 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Canned peach juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Monosodium glutamate 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Split shrimp through shell from the back, down to, but not through the underside.
Remove veins and wash.
Pat dry on paper towels and arrange a layer in shallow baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour mixture over shrimp.
Cover and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours; turn shrimp in sauce.
Drain shrimp; save sauce.
Arrange shrimp on skewers; broil for 3 to 5 minutes on each side until shrimp turns pink.
Baste frequently with sauce
