Shrimp A La King
|Frozen shelled shrimp||7 Ounce|
|Sliced mushrooms||3 Ounce|
|Green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|White pepper||4 Dash|
|Milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
Cook frozen shrimp according to package directions; drain.
In medium saucepan cook mushrooms and green pepper in butter or margarine till tender.
Blend in flour, salt, and white pepper.
Add milk all at once.
Cook quickly, stirring constantly till thickened and bubbly.
Stir in cooked shrimp and lemon juice.
Serve in toast cups.
