Saucy Shrimp Squares
Combine 3 well-beaten eggs and 1 1/2 cups milk.
Stir in 3 cups soft bread crumbs; two 4 1/2-ounce cans shrimp, drained; 2 tablespoons snipped parsley; 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion; 1 tablespoon lemon juice; 14 teaspoon salt; and dash pepper.
Turn into greased 10x6x1 3/4-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350Â° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cut into 6 servings; serve with Sauce.
Sauce: Melt 1 tablespoon butter in saucepan.
Stir in 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Add 1 1/2 cups milk.
Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened.
Remove from heat; add 4 ounces sharp process American cheese, shredded (1 cup).
Stir till melted.
