Shrimp Au Vin
|Frozen shelled shrimp/Fresh shelled shrimp||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Cayenne pepper||1 Dash|
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry white wine||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Chopped green onion||14 Cup (224 tbs)|
|American cheese||2 Ounce, sharp processed, 1/2 cup|
Thaw frozen shrimp.
In saucepan melt 3 tablespoons butter; stir in flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and cayenne.
Add milk; cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Slowly stir in wine.
In skillet cook shrimp and onion in 6 tablespoons butter till shrimp are pink, 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in sauce; heat through.
Spoon into patty shells; top with cheese.
