This Cheese Shrimp recipe is a quick one. Shrimp is low in fat, a good source of protein and is the best alternative to meat and poultry. This shrimp recipe is one of my favorite seafood dishes, oozing with melted cheese.
350 Gram, cleaned (without head but with shell)
50 Gram, sliced
20 Gram, julienned
50 Gram, thinly sliced (about 4 stems, separate the stem head and the leaves)
1 Teaspoon (or to taste)
Cracked black pepper
1⁄2 Teaspoon (or to taste)
1. Heat the cooking oil on a medium high flame.
2. Saute garlic, ginger and the white potion (head) of the green onions for 30 seconds.
3. Add the shrimp, cheese, salt and ground pepper. Stir until cheese melts and shrimp turns to orange.
4. Serve the cheesy shrimp garnished with the leaves of the green onion before serving.
The Other way of cooking is to melt the cheese first before adding the shrimp.
