Scampi Alla Romana

Ingredients
  Jumbo shrimp 24 (or super jumbo)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Shallots/Green onion- 1/2 cup 4 , thinly sliced
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Cayenne pepper 1 Pinch (good pinch)
  Fresh parsley 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Dry white wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tail attached

MAKING
2. Melt butter, add garlic and onion, stir in lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, parsley and wine
3. Place shrimp in a heat-proof platter or broiler pan and
pour 1/2 garlic butter mixture over shrimp
4. Broil 5" from heat for 3 minutes
5. Turn shrimp over, pour remaining garlic butter mixture over and broil 3 minutes longer
6. Allow shrimp to marinate 2 minutes before serving

SERVING
6. Serve with garlic bread or salads
