Peas And Shrimp Bisque
|Bacon slices||2 , diced|
|Sliced onions||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Fresh peas/1 package, frozen||1 Pound, shelled|
|Condensed cream of chicken soup||1 Can (10 oz), undiluted (Partially Thawed As Directed On Label)|
|Frozen condensed cream of potato soup||1 Can (10 oz), undiluted (Partially Thawed)|
|Light cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Dry sherry||3 Tablespoon|
Slowly saute bacon in saucepan until crisp.
Add onion and peas.
Cook, covered, over medium heat 10 minutes, or until peas are just tender.
Remove from heat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Stir gently until well mixed.
Cook, covered, over low heat 20 minutes, or until bisque is heated through.
Top each serving with a dash of paprika.
