Fried Shrimps

Ingredients
  Cleaned shrimp 1 Pound (Cooked / Canned)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Corn meal 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Fat 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

1. Set a frying kettle on a warm part of the range. Fill it half full of fat or shortening and let it slowly heat to 380° F., or hot enough to brown a 1-inch cube of bread in 45 seconds to 1 minute.
2. Sprinkle the cleaned, cooked shrimps with salt and pepper. Dip them in milk, then in corn meal.
3. Fry in deep hot fat 2 or 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
