Shrimp Cacciatore

  Fresh shrimp 2 Pound, peeled and deveined
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), minced
  Green bell pepper 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), minced
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Canned tomatoes 20 Ounce (1 Can)
  Canned tomato sauce 8 Ounce (2 Cans)
  Red wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fresh thyme/1/4 teaspoon dried thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1 , crumbled
  Cayenne pepper 1 Dash

In a large saucepan combine shrimp and boiling water to cover.
Simmer for 3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink; drain.
In a skillet heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add onion, green pepper and garlic.
Saute until onion is tender.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, salt, allspice, thyme, black pepper, bay leaf and cayenne pepper; mix well.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Add shrimp.
Heat to serving temperature.
