Sweet N Sour Shrimp
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Canned pineapple tidbits||13 1⁄4 Cup (212 tbs), undrained (1 can, 1 1/2 cup)|
|Frozen shrimp||12 Ounce, uncooked (3 cups)|
|Green onion/1 small onion||3 Medium, sliced|
|Celery stalks||2 , sliced|
|Green pepper||1 , cut into strips|
|Tomato||1 Large, cut into small pieces|
In 2-quart casserole, combine sugar, cornstarch, ginger, paprika, soy sauce and vinegar; mix well.
Stir in pineapple, frozen shrimp, onions, celery and green pepper.
Cook covered, 12 minutes or until shrimp is done.
Stir in tomato and leave covered a few minutes to heat tomato.
