Grilled Shrimp And Scallops
|Medium shrimp in shells||1⁄2 Pound (Fresh Or Frozen)|
|Scallops||1⁄2 Pound (Fresh Or Frozen)|
|Whole fresh mushrooms||4 Ounce|
|Cooking oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Dried oregano||1 Teaspoon, crushed|
Thaw shrimp and scallops, if frozen.
Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails attached.
Halve any large scallops.
Place shrimp, scallops, and mushrooms in a deep bowl.
For marinade, mix oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and salt; pour over shrimp and scallops.
Cover and marinate in refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.
Drain well, reserving marinade.
