Shrimp Paste

Ingredients
  Shrimp 1 Quart (boiled and picked)
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Grind shrimp, place in a saucepan with butter and any desired seasoning (salt, pepper, etc.).
Heat thoroughly; pack in molds, pressing down hard with a spoon and pour melted butter on top.
Place in refrigerator to chill.
An excellent hors d'oeuvre, or, sliced, an addition to a salad. [1 sometimes add 1/2 cup minced celery, 1 teaspoonful Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoonful minced onion to the recipe]
