Easy Boiled Shrimp
|Celery stalk||1⁄2 , sliced|
|Carrot||1 , sliced|
|White onion||1 Small, sliced|
|Lemon||1⁄2 , juiced|
|Freshly ground black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Shrimp||1 Pound, shelled and deveined|
1. In a large saucepan bring one quart of water to a boil, add the remaining ingredients except the shrimp and boil fifteen minutes.
2. Add the shrimp and simmer, uncovered, until pink, two to five minutes. Drain or leave the shrimp in the broth until serving time, as desired. Refrigerate.
