Oatmeal Shortbread

These oatmeal shortbread are cookies like bakes made with oatmeal and flour along with walnuts. Made with a dough of flour, sugar and butter, this oatmeal shortbread recipe is egg free and very easy to prepare.
Ingredients
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon, dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water
  Hot water 1 Tablespoon (For Dissolving The Baking Soda)
  Oatmeal 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix and drop dough by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Flatten slightly with fork.
Bake 15 minutes in oven at 300°F to 325° F.
