Chocolate Nut Shortbread
|Butter||250 Gram (1 Cup)|
|Cooking chocolate||60 Gram, melted|
|Confectioners' sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Walnuts||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), chopped|
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F or 160 degrees C.
2.Whisk butter well and add in the cooled chocolate.
3.Add in sugar and blend well.
4.Sift flour into the mixture and combine.
5.Add in the nuts.
6.Shape the dough into a roll of about 2 inches or 5 mm diametr.
7.Cover roll with a wax paper and let chill for several hours.
8.Cut the roll into slices of 1/4 inch or 5 mm and place them on the buttered cookie sheet.
9.Bake for 20 minutes.
10. Serve warm with coffee.
