|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Plain flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Pear halves||1 Can (10 oz) (Drained Or Fresh Pears, Peeled & Halved)|
1. Cream the butter, salt and sugar.
2. Put in the flour and pat into an oblong shape.
3. In a small ovenproof dish arrange the pears and place the shortbread on top.
4. Prick using a fork and let it bake for 20-25 minutes in a 350F/180C oven.
