Rich Scotch Shortbread

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Powdered sugar 1
Directions

Cream butter and sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
Combine flour and salt and blend into creamed mixture to make a smooth dough.
Press into ungreased 8-inch piepan.
Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar when removed from the oven.
Cut into wedges while warm
