Highland Shortbread

Ingredients
  Butter 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pecan halves 1 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)
  Powdered sugar 2 Tablespoon (adjust quantity as needed)
Directions

Cream butter: add sugar gradually.
Work In flour and salt.
Add more flour if needed to make a dough stiff enough to handle.
Make into small balls and top with pecan halves.
Place on greased cookie sheets and bake at 350° for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until slightly brown.
Roll In powdered sugar while hot.
