Filled pasta is defined as pasta sheets stuffed with fillings and folded in different shapes. In ancient times, pasta fillings were very limited, but as the popularity increases, so are the ingredients for filling such as cheese, veggies, or meats.
• It is believed that anything which is fresh is always good than its frozen counterpart. But in case of pasta, frozen and fresh ones are made from the same product. Nothing is added to change the composition of frozen pasta to be suitable for freezing.
• Both the pastas are cooked in almost same time, 3-5 minutes.
• Fresh pasta has a shelf life of about 3 days, whereas frozen one can be used within 180 days.
• Frozen pasta costs less as compared to the fresh one.
