Mexican Chia Fresca

Chia fresca is a common drink belonging to Central American and Mexico. Chia seeds are very versatile in use. They can be used by people wanting to reduce weight, blood sugar, blood pressure and gives stamina. Chia fresca is very good for summers and spring.
Ingredients
  Mango 3 Large (Honey)
  Chia seeds 3 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Lemon 1 (Organic)
  Agave nectar 2 Tablespoon (Optional)
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Peel and remove pit from the mangoes.
2.Peel the lemons and keep ready.

MAKING
3.Puree the mangoes.
4.Blend mangoes and lemon together.
5.Transfer it in a bowl.
6.Add chia seeds to the mango pulp.
7.Whisk it nicely.
8.Put it in the freezer for 10 minutes and allow it to gel

SERVING
9.Pour into a glass and serve chilled with a straw. You can also serve it a bowl with a spoon

damn I wish I found this before summer was over here... I have heard of many good things about chia seeds but the mango combo has just persuaded me to try this... its looks yum! :)
