Poppy Seed Delight
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Potatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Poppy seed||1⁄2 Pound, ground|
|Nuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
Cream margarine and sugar; add potatoes, eggs and milk.
Sift flour, baking powder and cinnamon; add to egg mixture.
Fold in poppy seed, vanilla and nuts; mix well.
Pour into greased tube pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
May be sprinkled with sifted powdered sugar.
