Poppy Seed Cookies
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon peel||1⁄4 Teaspoon, grated|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Poppy seed||2 Teaspoon|
Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in egg yolks and other ingredients.
Cover bowl and chill at least 2 hours.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls, place on greased cookie sheets, and flatten with fork.
Bake at 375° for 10 minutes.
