Poppy Seed Dressing

  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon
  Grated red onion 1 Tablespoon
  Vegetable oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Poppy seeds 1 Tablespoon

Mix sugar, salt, dry mustard, and paprika together. Add onion.
With a mixer or in a blender, combine mixture with oil and vinegar. When thoroughly combined, add poppy seeds and mix well.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
