Prawn Cocktail

Prawn cocktail is made from pealed and cooked prawns served with crisp greens such as lettuces. The prawn is chilled prior to make the cocktail. A mixed cocktail sauce of tomato ketchup, mayonnaise and optionally horseradish in the US is poured in the cocktail container and the prawn is laid on this.Prawn cocktail was invented in the UK by Fanny Cradock, a famous restaurant critic cum television cook. It is an ideal starter dish, qiuck and easy to prepare.
